The BLUE KITCHEN crew at MasterChef Live with copies of the
"Crown Street Cooks" fundraising cookbooks.

10 October, 2011

Well – MasterChef Live is done and dusted for 2011. Thank you to the organisers for putting it all together and to all of you who visited us there and purchased some of our products. We trust you will enjoy them and come back for more. It’s easy – just visit our SHOP, or let your favourite deli know that they should be stocking the BLUE KITCHEN range.

Scroll down to see some great pics of the show.

Congratulations to Connie from Hurlstone Park in Sydney, whose name was drawn from our Prize Box – she is the lucky winner of a pack of BLUE KITCHEN products. That’s one each of everything we make – over $150 in value. Connie’s Christmas presents are solved – or her pantry is now stocked for some time!

MasterChef Judge, Gary Mehigan at the Sourdough Bread-making School

Celebrity Chef, Kylie Kwong with a copy of “Crown Street Cooks” – a fundraising cookbook for Crown St Public School, which we were selling over the three day event. Kylie is one of the contributing cooks in the book – her ‘Organic Mushroom Salad’ recipe is delicious. In all, $1500 was raised at our stand for the school. It’s a great book and a great fundraising idea. If you want a copy, and help support this school, go to their SHOP to order.

Customers just couldn’t get enough BLUE KITCHEN!

Anyone want paella for lunch?

…. or go straight to dessert?

Indira Naidoo (a big fan of BLUE KITCHEN) came along on Friday to (easily) convince the throng to taste our products. Here she is with a couple of admirers. Look out for Indira’s new book “The Edible Balcony” coming out at the end of October.

MasterChef contestant Jay Huxley with BLUE KITCHEN‘s Andrew. Jay dropped by to sample our wares. He loves our Davidson’s Plum Conserve!

The Towers Twins …. or Twin Towers? The girls picked their favourites … sweet and sour!
